This cookbook is a compilation of traditional and exciting new recipes that were created by a teenage boy for his big sister who suffers from Celiac Disease.
The purpose of Cookies for Breakfast is to raise money to help find a cure for both Celiac Disease and Juvenile Diabetes. Its profits will be donated to Celiac research in Northern Virginia, the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness and to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of the National Capitol Area (http://www.jdrfcapitol.org/)
Mike Perlman has his share of "dessert experience." He has worked with the pastry chef at a famous Italian restaurant in Washington, DC. He has assisted in making wedding cakes for "Let Them Eat Cake," a catering company in Washington DC. And finally, last but not least, Michael is an avid consumer of all things cookie.
